The Cliff Bay Hotel

Set upon the rugged cliffs of western Funchal, the 5-star Cliff Bay Hotel makes the most of it’s dramatic location.

The Cliff Bay is famous for it’s Michelin-starred Il Gallo d’Oro restaurant – the brainchild of Chef Benoît Sinthon, showcasing the best of the island’s fresh, seasonal produce. There’s also the Rose Garden restaurant with it’s Mediterranean menu, and the Cliff Bar and Bistro for cocktails as the sun sets.
